Jan 23, 2016 Far from an "insult" First of all there wasn't ONE good beat on the Compton album anyway. The fact that Dre actually produced that whole album except Medicine Man is mind boggling. I didn't think he did any production on it. Sure as h--- doesn't sound like he did. Second of all, Eminem’s verse on Medicine Man is the ONLY good verse on the album. It's one of his best verses in recent years. Third, the Compton album is a f---ing disgrace. How do you go from two undeniable classic albums, two of the Top 5 albums in the history of rap, to making us wait 16 years for an album that literally doesn't have one good song, not even one good beat, not even one song worthy of being a single or getting radio play or a video. I literally just can't understand in the slightest bit why Dre thought this s--- was good enough to release. It's the most disappointing album in the history of music, any genre.
Jan 23, 2016 I have no idea.. I just heard credible rumors.. the only thing I know for sure is hes working really hard to get his voice and delivery right.
Jan 23, 2016 I think it's a case of over analyzing, Dre and Em are two super busy guys and didn't Dre just help do a short documentary on Shady records? And with the Medicine Man verse didn't the game have only one appearance on the album as well? I don't think Dre would get mad with Em over something as little as production on MMLP2.
Jan 23, 2016 I honestly can't think of a better Dre verse. That might be the best rap song I've ever heard. And that's coming from somebody who has all but grown out of the genre.
Jan 23, 2016 According to Wiki, there's 8 beats on Compton that Dre had no involvement with. Or is that wrong?
Jan 23, 2016 They probably are on awesome terms and can still disagree with each other like any two people do.
