Oct 18, 2015 Well the fact people like Chad can hate Yeezus, and love 808s, when others are the exact opposite, is telling of Kanye's versatility. Most rappers have a consensus best album, Kanye isn't most "rappers"...he's an artist. Immune to lanes.
Oct 18, 2015 this might sound weird but only after accepting "I Am A God" did i capture the essence and genius of Yeezus. I swear THAT track is the do or die, the gateway to another realm. Felt ecstatic when i finally got it the third time and couldn't stop trance-dancing like a swagged up bouncing ball when the bass of that song came on.
Oct 18, 2015 Chad's about 4 listens into it. Think C-Wizzy exaggarated how many times he listened to it before. Frustrating that Chad can't connect with a Kanye project. Cringe question, but any tips on "absorbing" it? Or is it just a perspective thing?
Oct 18, 2015 You really really really have to believe Kanye is a smart human being who has something really interesting to say. Also, if you've had a recent frustrating experience try to recall those feelings as you listen to IAAG specifically and also the album in general.
Oct 18, 2015 it may just not vibe that well with you and your tastes it's very electronic and distorted and raw sounding to me as a project, with s--- tons of bass, which is why it appeals to me, but that may be sonically a turn off for you so

Oct 19, 2015 I agree with @Chad Warden. Yeezus is my least favourite Kanye album and I hope his next will be different (but it will I think). However, yeezus is nontheless a great album and it says a lot about how amazing the guy is
