    There is still no songs on here better than the ringer, the greatest, lucky you, stepping stone or not alike on this album.

    Y'all still in the honeymoon phase with this album you all did the same s--- with recovery and mmlp2.

    It's not bad, and it could definitely be far worse at this stage in his career, but throw on relapse or SSLP and just see how it pales in comparison in terms of cohesion, song structure, hooks, etc. This album is basically revival with good rapping and not tone deaf Rick Rubin production. The modern production is actually pretty good, but tbh the trendy hooks such as marsh (dude is literally autotuning saying skrt and lit in the hook) and no regrets actually are pretty cringe (the greatest was actually him trying a trendy hook and killing it). And while a lot of these songs are good to listen to, none of them have much impact or staying power, much like a lot of his recent catalogue. Good rapping about being good and making 2010 Lil Wayne puns can only go so far.

    People will disagree now (the audacity to say this is better than sslp is insane), but this reaction has happened time and time again. And I'm not even saying this sucks or anything, it's good enough and Ive been regularly listening to it alot. But you're hyping this s--- to insane levels

    I think Em’s biggest problem last few years is song choices on albums. If you cut the sh-- from every album MMLP2 onwards, you have a bunch of flawless albums. Even Revival, although it would be quite short.

    Considering he left Groundhog Day off MMLP2 I dread to think what classics he has siting in the vault.

    I let this album sit. There are no horrible moments here, some great songs but i feel like i wont be listening to it s much as Kamikaze.
