I absolutely love this album. Been away this weekend so haven't had a chance to properly dissected it but I love how he is experimenting with different beats and flows etc. He seems to be really enjoying rapping again, to the point it just sounds so natural. I feel like with Recovery, MMLP2 and Revival they sounded so forced. It all sounded like he legit sat for days and days trying to perfect one song and had to try make each bar sound one certain way. This album sounds like he's having fun rapping again, Kamikaze gave him the confidence to experiment with different artists and producers on this and I love it.

Having said that does anyone else not like Young MA's verse? I seen genius on FB crediting it so it could just be me but I really didn't like it. I usually like her but just thought this was boring and a lazy verse from her.

Some songs don’t need to be on here and I wish he didn’t pander to that part of his fan base with the corny love songs. He doesn’t need to please everyone with every album. Solid album overall though, probably sits right behind recovery for his 5th best album to me. If I could split Encore in two it would be behind the good part.

Rhyme or Reason is so good. its one of my favorite songs of his. I like so far a lot only bc when I was little back in the early 90s my dad would play the joe walsh song so it was cool to hear him do that, I like his hook on it, but I think they really shoulda turned the beat around during the verses
