    Yeah, too bad the album goes downhill from there and only picks up toward the end. Revival, MMLP2 and Kamikaze had the exact same problem imho.

    Yh but why? He kinda ruined the song w that fast s--- (still ok tho but mainly because of the beat and juice)

    Sheeran song was ok. I mean nice to hear Em sound like he's genuinely having fun again. Also great to hear that D.A. tag. but the song is pretty bad. In Too Deep sounds like an MMLP2 leftover. pass.

    Nice beat on Godzilla. Juice's hook is cool. I don't know who tf he's trying to impress rapping like this. Its the same all-over-the-place syllable cramming s--- he's doing the last 6 years. It doesnt sound good at all.

    While i hate it. I think its relevant to the song since he is “godzilla”. But yea i dunno why he keep doing it but its not a deal breaker

    Yeah still rate it wow f---. Never thought I would. 12/17 tracks are honestly 8.5-10/10. It actually feels a bit like a movie. Even the weaker tracks still tie in with it.

    I can understand the "its a mess" feeling but i def dont see it as a revival p.2.
    This one has more of a theme, i really enjoy the Alfreds comments throughout the album. Revival was so all over the place, songs like framed, nowhere fast, need me to f---ing believe, s--- was a weird uncomfortable ride.
    This feels more smooth to play and a plus there is no poppish feeling on the songs, maybe the farewell song (which i reeeally enjoy tho, love the hook) and the never love again song but they come nowhere near to the poppish sounds that need me and nowhere fast had.
    Glad you enjoyed it for what it was tho, Do you have a top 3 songs?

    Darkness was crazy. Had to go back and listen again, can't remember the last time I did that with an Em song. Definitely one of the better songs in Em's post-hiatus catalog. This is the kind of writing Em excels at, he's always been a great storyteller.

    And the Skylar song is dope wtf! That 3rd verse is f---ing dark man... Its definitely on some white school shooter punch-a-hole-in-the-wall type s--- but this album is suddenly a lot better. I'm intrigued.
