Where Paul is at def jam, I wonder if his involvement is lesser, therefore the music is better?

Do you remember Eminem's famous tweet last year by putting "People think they want this problem 'til they get it"? White Gold had answered The Gon 'Learn in reference to the song on the MTBMB album. So they recorded the song in august or even before, cuz he also posted pictures with dre

Royce did an interview, he said they gon learn was for his album but then said when him and EM were playing each other music he said that Em was in love with it so he said "you can have it if you want it, what's mine is yours" Em taking the record might of gotten him the dre visit maybe?

    “I want mature songs”

This isn’t directed at you. I just hate hearing this s---. Mature content.

Yet we love Marvel movies. Or still watch Dragon Ball Z movies or “Rick and Morty”. Have Disney +. Can still enjoy classic kids movies. Or can watch a bloody horror movie or comedy.

I just, I don’t understand this argument. Especially in music. Especially where we love battle rap and none of that is mature

What do they want Eminem to rap about?

    1. Intro (Reading the newspaper)
    2. Doing my taxes.
    3. Paying my bills
    4. AARP
    5. Laundry day
    6. Skit (Talking with Hallie’s boyfriend)
    7. Paying bills (Part 2)
    8. In bed by 10
    9. What’s wrong with these kids?
    10. Back in my day
    11. Skit (Parenting tips from Dre.)
    12. Kim II (Date night)

I mean, I just feel like it’s a excuse or just something to throw at Em. Yet we love the murder and drug raps from certain people.

Again it’s not aimed at you. I just hate that “I want mature content” bs

This is album just keeps getting better and better for me.... here’s my rankings after a few listens now

    1. Darkness (honestly one of the best songs I’ve heard in a while and possibly Em’s best in over a decade)

    2. Yah Yah (pure hip hop fun over unique beat love it)

    3. You Gonna Learn (great beat, great verses, underrated hook)

    4. Godzilla (just can’t even belong this track exists and it pains me to know juice had an unfinished verse we’ll never hear)

    5. Leaving Heaven (finally a great Skylar collab, some of the rawest emotion we’ve had from Em in a while, critics hating on this song for no reason lol)

    6. I Will (literally sounds like an 2003 Em joint, hook is crazy, flow impeccable, love joe budden being left off)

    7. Little Engine (a zany wanky Em song over a dre beat in 2020, love to see it)

    8. Lock it Up (beat is smooth af, Anderson .paak is intoxicating and em has some amazing bars here being overlooked)

    9. Unaccomadating (2 years ago we’d never imagine Em on beats like this and it’s great, young MA getting over hated here, her part is catchy af IMO)

    10. No Regrets (We need more em and don Toliver, this was good but Ik they could do even better together)

    11. Premonition (dope beat and bars, but too similar to the ringer for me)

    12. Marsh (I love the subtle “it’s lit” and the Diddy bar, fun song)

    13. In Too Deep (Em’s love songs have been pretty bad as of recent, but this one is nice and again has a great beat)

    14. Never Love Again (don’t really care for the hook or the first beat but love the end of this song, this one could grow on me)

    15. Farewell (hook is bad, beat is nice, Em has just done this song already before, multiple times actually and better)

    16. Those kinda nights (like the beat and hook, Em is just too obnoxious here for me and I don’t feel like his delivery matches the cool, sleek, beat and hook)

    17. Stepdad (still hate the hook, don’t like the beat, and the hate expressed in this song feels more forced and not as natural as it did in Leaving Heaven)

Eminem is 20 years past his prime, just put out two great albums in the last 18 months, and will go #1 for the 10th consecutive time.

I understand people not liking his music (it’s been 21 years he’s not making new fans now), but to not respect his longevity, success, and sustained technical ability is just cowardly at this point.

if he somehow manages to make his next album even better than this one, which I think he can, it will literally be his second prime.

The fact the cover says “Slim Shady” on it still kinda throws me off a little bit. I don’t recall him ever putting one of his personas on the cover...could it mean there’s gonna be another album with “Marshall Mathers” on the cover.

Just kinda odd, and everything Em does nowadays has a meaning. Except the Boner dollar of course lol
