    Btw this the only forum/place in the world where people kinda s--- on TES. Lmfao. TES is a master class of a rap album behind MMLP. The Eminem hate on this forum is just so crazy at this point that we gotta say his classic albums has this and that wrong with it lmaoooo. Nowhere else do I see this hive mentality. Even f---ing lord jamar and Budden gives the man props lol.

    are you talking about me? I actually love the eminem show, but do you listen to it front to back without skipping, idk, say what you say or when the music stops?

    i think what i dislike the most about the lyrical style of post-09 eminem is that the brilliant metaphors that gave his lyrics colors and created the eminem imaginary almost disappered in favor of... puns
    his approach to writing and his understanding of what makes rap music good has just changed so much, from "what you're seeing is a genius at work, which to me isn't work so it's easy to misinterpret it at first" to bragging about being super clever and complaining that people don't enjoy his music because they don't understand the lines

    Eminem recorded 100 songs since june... he narrowed them to 20... so the S1 one didn't made the cut.. simple as that

    And if/when I do listen to TES, I actually don’t skip them. I do skip drips however lol

    SSLP I skip my fault

    MMLP I skip under the influence.

    rest is history from there

    On Darkness, Em whispers very quietly “double entendre” really ruins the song and takes you out of it. 4/10 song.
