yeah music is subjective, not judging here. the hook is a 50/50 thing, either you love it or you hate it. Just asked bc it's one of my favorite songs on the album.

As for Relapse sound yeah it's very unique. That's why I can't get enough of it.

Premonition - 10 (Flawless Intro, hypes me up every time i give the album a spin)
Unaccommodating - 9,5 (Without the "magnetic" Young M.A. verse it would be a 10)
You Gon' Learn - 10 (Love the beat, hook and the 2 verses, flawless song)
Those kinda nights - 7
In Too Deep - 6,5 (like the slight switch of the instrumental in the 3rd verse a lot, apart from that nothing special)
Gozdzilla - 9,5 (would be a 10 without the fast part at the end)
Darkness - 10
Leaving Heaven - 9,5 (3rd verse just flawless, one of his best in the last 10 years, Hook from Skylar great too)
Yah Yah - 8 (Black Thought wwith a 10/10 verse on here, the beat grew a lot on me, still they could have done a better job)
Stepdad - 9 (Great delivery from EM during his verses, straight outa TES)
Marsh - 9,5 (such a addictive song overall, love it)
Never Love Again - 9,5 (great Hook from EM, chill flow first two verses, great beatswitch verse 3, good storytelling)

Farewell - 8 (this song grew the most on me, catchy as h---)

MTBMB Personal review, enjoy or go f--- Yourselves

Premonition (intro) : 9.5/10. An absolute perfect into to the album and sets the pace for the wordplay and energy you’re gonna feel throughout the whole album

Unaccommodating( feat young M.A.) : 9/10. I’m a huge fan of M.A. and she goes absolutely bonkers. Of course em kills it. One of the best beats on the whole album. The flow switch that happens in this song and several others is something we’ve never heard from em like this and he’s doing amazing with it. Also the Ad libs are crazy

You Gon Learn (feat Royce) 10/10. holy h--- was I not expecting this type of song from Royce, much less enjoy it, but it’s one of if not my favorite song on the album. The sample and hook are seam near orgasmic to the ears

Alfred (interlude). No score. I know this isn’t a song but I thought it was god d--- cool!

Those Kinda Nights(feat. Ed Sheeran) 7/10. It’s definitely the first song on the album that hasn’t blown me away. Wordplay is great as always, but there’s a lot of corny parts. Sounds like a revival song to me, but a better one.

In Too Deep. 5/10. I don’t like this song at all. Feels just like a filler song to me. Even on the first listen I wanted to skip this song

Godzilla( feat Juice WRLD) 10/10. First of all, Rest In Peace juice wrld. He was one of the most talented artists out there. This feature was a complete surprise but it was so awesome to see! He did an AMAZING job on the hook. Ems part is catchy as h--- and overall the song is awesome. The last verse is PERFECTION

Darkness 9/10. Most emotional song on the album and it’s extremely deep. Gives me castle/arose vibes, which were easily the best 2 songs in revival. The storytelling in this one is as best as em has ever been in that department. I’m not a huge fan of the hook, but it’s not too awful.

Leaving Heaven. 10/10. another masterpiece and I’m not even halfway through. This is one of the very view trip tier Skylar gray songs. Her voice is amazing here and Eminem does his thing of course.

Yah yah (feat Royce, black Thought, Q-Tip & Denaun) 7.8/10. Not a huge fan of any of the features here, besides Royce. I’ve never been a fan of slaughterhouse at all. Ems part is decent. Definitely not an instant skip.

Stepdad. 6/10. The hook is abysmal. Terrible. Probably the worst hook he’s ever had. The verses in between aren’t too bad, which keeps this song at a 6. I don’t really feel like this is a song I’m going to bump to ever.

Marsh. 9/10. This song goes hard af. The hook and the Adlibs are fun as fell to listen to. I’ll be listening to this song on repeat without a doubt. This is what he was trying to do on the first half of revival. And the Trippie Redd s/o. Nuts!

Never Love Again. 7/10. Decent song. I actually like the hook on this one. I can feel emotion in this song. A lot of people are gonna s--- on it but I think it’s got a good sound.

Little Engine 10/10. One of my favorite Em songs of all time after a s--- ton of listens. The hook is one of his best ever. The flow is f---ing crazy. I just love this song so d--- much. I can’t get enough of it.

Lock It Up (feat Anderson .Paak) 8.5/10 Anderson spits in this song. Him and em combine so well on this beat. Overall a super catchy and fun son. Also em spits some crazy flows

Farewell 5/10. Not a good song at all. Pretty corny and annoying and doesn’t fit the album at all. He would have been better off just trashing this one. It doesn’t sound like em at all to me.

No Regrets (feat Don Toliver) 7.5/10 I love the feel of this song. Don gives off great vibes in all of his songs. Eminem does his thing and does it well. Not crazy good, but not a skip in the slightest.

I Will (feat KXNG Crooked, Royce, and Joell Ortiz) 7/10. Not a fantastic song. I don’t really find it catchy at all. Eminem does pretty well on his verse though.

Overall 8.1/10, and I think one of his best albums since relapse/recovery
