I don't have a problem with this. I have a problem with recycling content, because you don't want to talk about your life anymore. So either stop it altogether and focus ons some other topics or just retire if you have nothing to say.

Realistically, how many topics are there to discuss about one's own life? Thats why love songs are 99% of music. They're the same topic over and over again but with a slithtly different angle.

With eminem you get a few more specific topics, told from a slightly different angle each time.

There really isnt a lot a person can talk about from their own life, eminem is lucky he has these at his disposal at all.

My favorite eminem songs are where he just brags and raps about how he's good at rap, or entire relapse where he's completely unrealistic and nonsensical. Content is overrated.

He already did four songs about the same topic: Deja Vu, Going Through Changes, Castle and Arose. If it was done on the same album okay, but recycling old topic after 7 years to just make another variation of the same song is underwhelming.

That's why he should just ditch making those songs if he doesn't want to open up anymore and reuses old topics just to satisfy his fanbase. Just make concept album like Relapse or something.

Content wise, there isn’t much if anything left for Em to say. I mean what else can he talk about? If content is a problem, then there is only direction for him to go. A concept album. He puts himself in the shoes of a fictional character in a fictional world or something and tells a story from beginning to end. He has the lyrical genius to able to pull off a very cohesive storytelling album. I doubt he’ll do it though.

I agree actually. I'd prefer a detached concept album from rehashed topics like his drug use. I feel like Never Love Again is a song where he said "alright have to have one about my addiction". He is probably tempted and still struggling with the thought of indulging so I get it, but it even ends with flushing them down the toilet just like in arose.

Yeah, that one pissed me off not gonna lie. It just feels cheap and makes me mad in some way, because he is such talented artist with many dope producers at his disposal and chooses to waste it on those recycled songs.

Content wise there’s only one topic I can think of that we’d liked to hear from Em that we haven’t already. Addressing his Uncle Ronnie’s suicide which we know he has an unreleased track of but I don’t want him to redo it like he did with “You’re Never Over” which was a much weaker song than the unreleased “Difficult”. Hopefully that song gets to see the light of day sometime, I don’t know why his weirdo family was so against him putting it out.
