    I agree with this, his ‘personal songs’ are all about his position in his career or reflecting back on topics we knew about in 99, or I guess 2010 with Recovery.

    I don’t think he has much left to say at all

    Remember when he said he doesn't wanna talk about personal stuff anymore ? That's the reason. There is not a single thing he talked about in the last 10 years that are related to his personal life on a song. He must have had some things to talk about or mention but he is a lot more private for the sake of his family I guess

    So after nearly one month I can say: This album is a masterpiece.
    Didn't enjoy a EM album more than this one since TES.

    If you listen to a lot of rappers it doesn't bother you as much tbh

    I personally enjoy all these songs a d--- lot. In fact, throw in Never Love Again there too. Approaching the same content in so many different ways only shows how creative Em's writing style can be.

    It's different when rapper talks again about hedonistic life rather than mentioning specific event in his life in a song with almost the same concept.

    Yes. Exactly. He regrets many personal stuff on some level that he is not willing to go down that road again. I'm sure he has recent stories we have never heard of but he realized that as long as he talks about them on a song, it's not private anymore. And let's be real, Hailie and other daughters are not kids anymore, they are older and they might not want their stories to be out in the public or told by their father. Last time Em was talkin' some bs about his family etc. they were too young to understand it and after he came back only time Em ever mentioned his family members were the times he apologizes to them except his father but he is not a family member anyways.
