Divide it by 1500 for sales equiv. That's 33k, but Spotify only, add in apple and merch bundles, prob close to 100k.

I guess I’m in the minority but I quite enjoy Stepdad and In Too Deep.

He can keep Never Love Again and Little Engine though (even though I love the choruses for both)

Well its more than Revival and Kamikaze
and considering that an almost 50 year old rapper did better than pop starts must be good lol

you 'bout to meet a scary fate
And come home to find yourself starin' straight into a f---in' barrel like Sharon Tate

Raise the concerto while I narrate
Yeah, you be on the straight and narrow like a f---in' arrow shape
I be on a higher plane in aerospace
With so much leg-room and air space on this airplane
Unlike you 'cause you’re on a flight too, but it’s a staircase

So, i gave the album a good amount of spins to give my opinion

I will compare MTBMB to Kamikaze and Revival

    Lets start with the Release:
When the Revival promotion began, we all thought that this will be something in the direction of Relapse. The hype was ther, because it was his first album in 4 years and fans were hungry.
The promition could have been perfect when the result wouldnt be so awful - MTBMB wins this.

After the bad reviews, he came back with a bomb out of nowhere. Kamikaze was out and the surprise route was something completly new for Eminem and i think a lot of us didnt expect an new album this soon after Revival - This release wins Kamikaze

With MTBMB he goes the same route and came back with another surprise release. Only problem here was, that we already knew that he had an new album ready. Somehow it was an surprise but on the other hand we knew that something was coming sooner or later. So the release didnt had the impact like kamikaze had.

Now i will talk a little bit about the music. I will not go deep into lyrics, just how the album sounds compared to Revival and Kamikaze.

Revival sounds like a route with thousand ways but with no aim. Some new style here, some recovery style there, some MMLP2 and Relapse stuff. I mean, he said it himselfe. He wanted to created something for everybody but this idea didnt go well. It just didnt feel and didnt sound like an album.
    My personal Highs:
    Walk on Water
    Belive
    Tragic Endings
    Framed
    Arose

With kamikaze, it was completly different. The direction was clear as f---, he was angry and was ready to clear things up.
The Album started with an absolute flawless track - The Ringer. The Ringer is probably one of the best pure Rap tracks ever made. With this album, he gave most of us what we want. Almost a whole album with pure spitting hot fire.
    My personal highs:
    The Ringer
    Lucky You
    Stepping Stone
    Fall
    Good Guy

    So now to MTBMB:
I heard the album the first time and thought "alright, there is not one bad song" After a couple of more spins i still thought "there is still no bad song but there are some that i will probably not gonna listening this much" like "Into the Deep", "Little Engine", "Farewell". Like i said, i dont think they are bad, but they are not my cup of tea.
    My personal highs:
    Premonition
    Marsh
    Lock it up

    Conclusion:

The highs on MTBMB are around the highs from Revival, maybe a little better. The highs from Kamikaze are definitely better for me. To beat The Ringer is probably something even SSLP - TES Eminem would have problems with.
The lows from MTBMB are on the same level like the lows from Kamikaze (Kamikaze, Nice guy) but definitely better then the lows from Revival (Heat, Untouchable, Remind Me).

In the end i would say, that MTBMB is a very constant Album because like i said, there is not really a bad song but there is also not a song where i thought "god dayum, this was hot fire" Only The Intro, Marsh and Lock it up are coming close to this.

I think it is a good album, it has a 50/50 chance to age well or to age bad.
Still, Kamikaze wins this for me and i woud put MTBMB straight behind Kamikaze and far away from Revival.

After comeback, it looks like this for me

Relapse (Still his 4th classic for me)
Kamikaze (Wonderfull almost full pure rap album and great impact)
Music to be murdered by (Very constant album with very few lows but without Kamikaze level highs)
MMLP2 (For me it is still a great album except a few lows. MMLP2 is probably able to take MTBMB spot depends on my mood)
Recovery (In 2010, the album was absolute great, there still songs which are timeless but as a whole, it aged bad for me)
Revival (except a few great songs it is his worst album in his whole cataloge)

Don't know if this has been said already, but I wouldn't be surprised if Yah Yah was supposed to be on Royce's album
