Yeah you see this is kinda what I mean. 'You praise a 47 year old man for this'. Nah I don't, at all! I praise him for different reasons.
I said, w Kamikaze, Revival and again now that the fictional relationship songs f---ing s--- and make no sense. Songs like farewell, too deep, never love again (even if its about drugs maybe?) s--- content wise.


When it comes to ye and em, I didn't grew up w eminem music. I was too young when his classics dropped. But I did experience the GOOD fridays, MBDTF, WTT.. which made me a huge Kanye fan! But that also means I experienced his fall off more than Ems. I mean ofc a deaf person can hear that eminem isn't half as good as he used to be, but w Kanye I kinda 'went more through' that phase than w em, you know?

But what it is and always has been w Em is that I find him the most interesting artist. Good or bad, he always finds ways to surprise us or come up w something.

Both ye and jik were just boring to me. There is nothing that makes me interested wanting to listen to it again. So yeah maybe bad isn't the right word, just uninteresting. And yeah he still is a h--- of a producer I won't take that away from him.

As I said before I'm more of a song by song judge than overall, so therefore I rather have an album full of hits and misses, than an album that never interests me at all. And thats exactly it w ems last few albums; revival was a mess but all bad songs, kami was solid because it mostly had good songs (and wasn't a mess).. mtbmb is again, a mess, but to me w a lot of good songs. And the meh songs also have something. 'Having the same topic over and over' is a dumb argument imo (not saying u did it) because come on, how many times did jay rap about his d'usse cups, grammies and nr 1 albums? And I love him for it!

Its about what topic. I dont give a s--- about the fictional relationship bs because it makes no sense. I do think its interesting when he talks about how fame affects him, his father, his childhood, his inner demons.. etc. And I like when he takes it back to (for him) simpler times even when the songs itself are kinda childish. I like to hear him having fun instead of feeling forced to make music he doesn't want to.

But okay lets go to the actual songs;
I think premonition is a killer intro. The 2nd song young ma is a nice feature and beat is dope but eminems fast rapping, not a fan. You gon learn is okay but mostly because of royce. Those kinda nights is kinda what I mean w not being really good but an interesting move; he's having fun, beat is dope and I know u dont wanna hear this bud but sheeran kills it! I take this fun yet flawed over a boring song any day. In to deep is exactly what I mean w bs relationship songs except I dont even like how it sounds where some at least sound decent, instant skip. Godzilla has a killer beat and juice shines, eminem is ok except for the ending, decent but flawed song, again. Giving him props for having juice here at least. Darkness is a dope concept, and I think the execution is good too. Leaving heaven 3rd verse is amazing, first 2 ok. Skykers hook is nice too. Yahyah dope posse cut, beat still confuses me but it grew on me. Em gets washed completely by the others though, they all deliver. Stepdad would have been great 15 years ago now its kinda corny for a 47 y/o man lol. Sonically not bad. Marsh is a grower. Typical em song altough kinda average still. Never love again is kinda meh except for Dre's beat switch, mans a genius. Engine a grower I like it, again doc f---ing dre! Lock it up has dre x em x paak.. g.d.. Paak kills it, dre kills it, em is good altough this song deserves better verses from him. Farewel f---ing sux content wise, I like the beat a lot, and his flow is ok. Not liking the song though. No regrets, don's chorus is beautiful! Eminems writing is great and I personally like his flow. I get what @Sav Stanfield means w his delivery in general the last 10 years, and if it bothers u its understandable not liking this. I like this song a lot though. I will is amazing start to finish. 2000's eminem.

So yeah, curious to see ur tbt breakdown! And ftr people that accuse u of hating are idiots because people like you and sav admit not liking it but also explain why. But man, even you have to admit dat itt there are people sticking around for the sole purpose of talking s--- to eminem and his fans. Like koolo said, people being obsessed an artist they like is lame but being obsessed w constantly s--- talking is even worse. Just leave the thread then. Again this doesn't go for u!
