Just image this concept for his next albums

    Three personalitys:
The Detectiv (Marshall Mathers) - He his always in a conflict between his family and his Job

The Victim (Eminem) - Had a good Job but starded with Drugs

The Killer (Slim Shady) - Born out of bullying and family problems

In the End they will all meet and it will be a showdown with an open End.
Then he releases a dripple album with one CD with around 10 tracks for each personality as the winner

This as whole story telling album with two meanings

Probably my fav on this album. Anderson goes wild and when Marshall comes in - pure fire. And that beat

very interesting to see how different the taste is for this Album. With Revival and Kamikaze we all had around the same favs but now - some people love into the deep, some people love marsh, some people love darkness. Crazy what he created with this album

guys... Darkness is Em's most layered, clever track that he's ever put out.

deserves it's own dedicated thread tbh. there's so much to unpack. every single line is a double entendre. this is insane.

I mean its def a dope double entendre but none of it is incredibly difficult, most of it bounces off the concert which clearly wasnt hard to connect. I dont like the sonics of the song much at all tbh

can't disagree more about it not being a difficult track. nearly every single bar is telling 2 stories at the same time. the metaphors within them are crazy as well...

i'm so much like my father, you would think that i knew him... stephen paddock's father was on the fbi's most wanted list; neither em, nor paddock had a relationship with their fathers

f--- the colt 45, ima need something stronger... beer->liquor, pistol->rifle
commando with extra clips, i got ammo for all the hecklers... heckler & koch
magazines on the floor, f--- the media...
    reach for the scope...
    etc...

Didnt know that about the shooters father and didnt catch the colt line-nice catch. This probably one of the easier lines but I really liked the scope/mouthwash line tbh such different meanings and pulled off really well.

After the first two listens I would have removed : YaYa, In too Deep, Farewell, Little Engine and Those Kinda Nights
Now I would only remove : Those Kinda Nights

There are also so many little things in production and ad libs that are brilliant and really remind me of his old music in some ways. Like these dark dramatically intensifying strings, those gun and trigger sounds, the police sirens, his autontuned adlibs on the Unaccommodating hook with the "wahahbdhld" "f--- you", at some point he even does the chica chica scretch noises or in I will you can hear this harpsichord sound for a few seconds...and there are many more
