    Eminem goes the tech nine route now. Make a bunch of forgettable songs rapping nonsense fast over mediocre beats with an ok verse sprinkled here and there. Though this is his first album without at least one decent overall song.

    He’s gotten so much better in the last 2 albums that I now actually believe he has a 4th classic left in him. Not quite there yet, but getting really f---ing close.

    This is my biggest gripe. He never used to do this. He became obsessed with them after Recovery. He doesn’t really rap about anything real anymore. He builds entire verses around punchlines. It’s so frustrating.

    I have. I check out his new music when it drops in hopes of it being good but I haven’t regularly listened to Em’s music since he was yodelling on a track about imaginary monsters with Rihanna on MMLP2.

    Top tier technician? Sure. Technical lyrical skills? Unbelievably good.

    Ability to make good sounding music with replay value? Awful.

    Listening to farewell for the 2nd time finally since Friday morning, and now I love it. I hope me being a Stan isn’t tricking me to like these songs now lol. One more song to listen to for the 2nd time, and that’s No Regrets, if I like this song that means there’s only one song that I’m not too crazy about, and thats in too deep.
