Whatever the reason is - even if I'm wrong and 'Underground' was one of the first songs made... it's irrelevant. It's how it feels and how it sounds. Analysis comes after. The rap style (at least to my ears) on 'Underground' is a jarring shift from all other rapping on Relapse songs. So it is absolutely out of place. It's 1 out of the rest.

Bruh. End of Verse 2 (@ 'garden of eden' segment) is one of top moments on the album.
And easily the best moment of that song.

The accent on the last verse is so subtle as to be nonexistent. He sounds more like his Encore self there, and it's actually quite good

After a week with this project in my ears, I can say that I appreciate this album.
The First listening was not really good. Very bad to be honest. But, more I listen, more I like.
There are tracks that are fire, but in the opposite, a few tracks that I don't understand why there are on the album.

Premonition, Lock It Up & I WIll are my Top 3 !
The intro is great with that flow around 1:30min that reminds me 2000' era. I was ready to be crazy !
Anderson Paak on Lock It Up is Flawless, and he fits perfect for this prod.
And I Will is God d--- GOOD !

Half Good :
Em is perfect on Unaccommadating, but Youg MA .. Who the h--- is this guy ? s-----y lyrics, s-----y flow, s-----y voice. He ruins the start of the song. The little chorus is flame.
You gon Learn is nice even if I would prefer 50 cent on the hook.
Godzilla is a radio single, but I don't understand the fast flow at the end. The production and Juice WRLD are not for me.
Darkness is great. Hook is my guilty pleasure.
Yah Yah is pure Hip Hop !
Marsh and Little Engine are fun but there is something that annoying me on both prod.

Half Meh :
Those Kinda Nights has a potential to be a b-----r that will make you dance all night, but Ed Sheeran on the hook destroys everything for me. He needs to stop this pop thing.
Stepdad .. I still don't know if the hook is genius or ridiculous. This made me laugh and I like the last verse but the hook .. WTF ?
In To Deep, Never Love Again & Farewell .. Too much songs about toxic relationship. I know that Never Love Again is about drug abuse but the track still can interpreted as a break-up song. The chorus of In To Deep is nice but not for this album. And Farewell reminds me Revival. So, I can't.
No Regrets .. Maybe the album is too long but I can't appreciate this track. Hook is boring to me.
Leaving Heaven .. OMG .. Get the f--- outta here Skylar please. I have no doubt that the 3rd verse is huge, but when I hear her voice, I have no choice to skip the song. It's too much for me. And by the way, I still don't understand the transition between this track and Yah Yah. Something wrong about it.

To conclude, from my point of view this album is nice but too long. And I have the feeling that some songs have been added and are not part of the original project.
Solid project but skippable tracks to me.
Maybe we will see Detox in 2020 ? Ahah !
