    i feel like he HAS gone to therapy. lol. hes like, pandering here. thats why the song dosent work -- its not even the subject matter and its just so clear hes a 47 year old dude pretending like he still Really Wishes His Dad were in h---.

    Funny that people hate Revival yet love this. It’s just a poor mans revival. Terrible production, terrible mixing, 15 tracks too long, has more boring love/relationship songs, no theme, no cohesiveness.

    The album might not be as cohesive as others, but every track he at least has something to say, compared to 90% of his other albums post TES

    This is essentially Revival 2.0, except every song on here is better than any song on revival besides Believe, Castle and Arose and a handful of songs are better than those

    Yeah I feel like he has to have gone before at least when he was getting through addiction, but I could also see him as one of those people who says "my art is my therapy" and uses that as an excuse to ignore his issues and never truly confront them in a healthy context.

    I feel like most (healthy) celebrities probably go to therapy, idk how you could handle fame without talking to someone.

    Yeah it has some s--- songs, but add refill to this and nothing can touch it later in his career, because his later output is so all over the place. It just takes me out of enjoying it, because some of these decisions don't fit with each other. Also Em is recycling content throughout the last ten years of his career.

    i assume he still does AA or something. probably has a sponsor on payroll. agreed -- theres def therapists who cater specifically to stars. what else does em do all day
