    Hoooolly s---. I'm kinda jealous you get to experience Uzi for the first time. I'd recommend starting from the beginning - its actually worth it for Uzi. Start with the first Luv Is Rage, then Luv vs. the World, skip over the Perfect Luv Tape and then finish with Luv is Rage 2. Then you'll be ready for Eternal Atake.

    People seem pretty split on P2. XO Tour Life is obviously way better, but I couldn't help but be excited when I he started hitting the same melodies on P2 and it became clear it was a part 2 of. So I guess the rehash worked on me lol. I thought it was a fun callback that didn't feel like it was taking itself too seriously or staking the album on it, but I understand the reservations behind any song "sequel."

    LUV vs. the World 2 is definitely not as ambitious as EA, but I think that's the entire point. It's a fun companion record and making it the "deluxe edition" is creative way to get those streams your label wants without shoving some random features/more radio-friendly songs on there that might ruin the flow of your album to up your numbers.

    I'm honestly just really impressed all around. I wish more rappers would take 3 years off between albums to make sure they get it right.

    I'd comfortable rate this now as Uzi's best work now that it's been stuck on rotation and possibly lodged into my memories banks permanently.

    So consistent throughout from top to bottom, not one shortage of energy nor dull moment, his rapping/cadences are at the sharpest it's ever been. It's like he really was abducted by aliens and they systematically retransformed him or something. B-Side of the album is already amongst my most favorite stretches of music in recent memory.

    I'm not arguing it's some sort of lyrical masterpiece, it just seems inoffensive to me at worst lol. Like I don't go into an Uzi album expecting (or wanting) black thought or ghostface level lyricism (though I do think he's great at writing songs about heartbreak). For me the whole direction of this album (art, rollout, music itself) is amazing. It really sounds like UFO trap.

    could switch EA and LIR2 but I’m leaning toward EA being his best. I think LIR2 has more absolute standouts, but it kinda gets jumbled up for me in the last third. EA is great the whole way through.
