Jan 29, 2016 mbdtf (yeezus, watch the throne), gkmc (tpab), lol, 56 nights (beast mode, monster), tha tour pt.1 (1017, barter 6, slime season 1)
Jan 29, 2016 is it really that hard to understand? you look at the most acclaiemd albums and the ones that had the biggest impact, and you have the classics of this decade. Kanye: Mbdtf & yeezus Kendrick: Tpab & gkmc Drake: Take Care & SFG (I know, it dropped in 2009) Future: Ds2, monster, beast mode Young Thug: Barter 6, SS1 etc
Jan 29, 2016 Yeah, Future & Thug starting to come really prominent now. Thug especially has a f---ing huge future ahead of him because he only just starting and knowwhere near his peak
Jan 29, 2016 WTT is a classic, and even if you dont rate it that highly itll be remembered because its a kanye/jay z collabo my choices were based more off what will be remembered than my own tastes tho. in which cause i guess i should have switched tpab and gkmc like, for thug, barter 6 might be my favorite front to back, but tha tour and slime season 1 are gonna be the big ones for him so far. 1017 being what kicked it all off. for future, i think beast mode is the best front to back, but 56 night will take it with monster being what kicked it off. etc
Jan 29, 2016 thugs been working kanye for 3 years now. and they havent released a single song whenever they drop their inevitable collab project, its going to be the best rap album of all time.
Jan 29, 2016 It had a pretty huge impact, for a mixtape. I often hear people saying its one of the best mixtapes of all time, s--- almost won a grammy and it's commercially one of the most successful mixtapes
Jan 29, 2016 A decent percentage of NWTS bores me But the moments I did like were nothing less than classic Furthest Thing, Too Much, and Wu-Tang Forever are some of my favorite Drake songs
Jan 29, 2016 Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Pinata Kendrick Lamar - To p---- A Butterfly Open Mike Eagle - Dark Comedy Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d. city Billy Woods - Dour Candy Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels 2 The Roots - Undun El-P & Killer Mike - R.A.P. Music
Jan 29, 2016 "my choices were based more off what will be remembered than my own tastes tho" so.. why no drake album?
Jan 29, 2016 because i legit think no single drake project will be remembered for its quality down the line, more as a byproduct of the times by remembered, i didnt just mean in general. i meant for their contribution to the scene/quality in general. i shoudlve clarified. Drake affected the scene in, commercially, in an irrefutable manner. he'll definitely be remembered, im not as sure about his actual work
