I feel sad Socialist ideas are gaining popularity in the US, I’m not Republican or Trump supporter, I’m more of a Libertarian.

This Woman says so many ignorant/populist things it makes me cringe, trust me if someone with ideas like these become president it would be sad. And i mostly say this from an Economic point of view.

These guys want free healthcare, college, raise wages which i think it’s great but reality is that nothing is free in this world, someone will always pay for it and their way to do it is just by increasing tax rates they don’t know how to produce so just take money from the rich to pay.

I’m From Venezuela, i won’t say it could get to that point because here in the US is different but it’s a proof Goverment shouldn’t and can’t take care of everyhing.

These Democratic policies all they do is make people more dependant on social programs, Goverments should create conditions so you do everything on your own however i do support a mixed system of education and health, that’s fine but in different terms. ‘Democratic Socialism’ is not the way to end corporatism or monopolies.

Accountable for what? I bet you -and the majority- try to minimize tax amounts, thats what they do, man these politicians make laws with loopholes to take advantage but the people gets f-----.

It’s outrageous that if you make 10 Millions and then they take 7 from you, that s--- would make Not work hard. If you think they hide taxes imagine how would it be with a 70%. It slows down production and gives more power to goverment. That’s a limitation for the qualified individual to progress. ‘Yeah but it creates Equality’ Well we should try being Equally rich -or at least decent living- not Equally poor

if you don’t pay then you go to jail, d--- homie. And if a Republican did that its still wrong - and again im not a Republican. I support a true Open Market Economy with Social Freedom.

Each case has an exception of course and by the way this the Danish PM speaking himself

i don't get the american reflex to see "the private sector" as more effective/benevolent/efficient than the government, when we have decades and decades of evidence that that's not remotely the case

I’m the first to say no system is perfect, but i lean towards Libertarianism because precisely respects individual freedom. You can do whatever you want to do as long as it doesn’t hurts other people, the golden rule. So a Racist doesn’t fit the description

And yeah, i support Drug -not only weed- decreminalization as well as prostitution and some other things.

No system can be implemented 100% because we have to be realistic but this makes more sense to me instead of being under an goverment who legally f---s people, specially Middle Class and Poor, everyday.

You guys do realize a lot of her “whack job” ideas not only work in other developed countries (I’m not talking about Sweden or Switzerland either) but have been implemented here in the past. The marginal tax rate was 70% back in the 50s/60s under presidents from both parties. Everyone hears the word socialist & automatically thinks worst case scenario lol.
