Mar 25, 2015 nah, I've written thousands of words in defense of my opinions. Im not just being hyperbolic for the sake of it. Only One and All Day are fantastic. Both are easily 8/10 tracks, at the very least. The beat switch up/outro on All Day alone is enough to warrant a high replay value.

Mar 25, 2015 Right, because NO ONE was talking about the ENTIRE beat being structured around old b-sides of Macca whistling, and the great outro which basically switches genres on us out of nowhere. And I hate the mentality that a song/album/project/etc is lesser because it didnt perfectly match the expectations you had for it. Only thing something not matching your exceptions proves is that your expectations were off base lol. From there on, its still all about being rational and not letting your biases dictate your thoughts on the track I thought All Day was gonna be as intense as the live version -- it's not. It's probably better for it...it's more accessible, and less grating. The production is still impeccable, and endlessly entertaining...not to mention just interesting in general. The way it seems to build on the operatic feel of like "HAM" or something, but while incorporating elements from Yeezus. It builds up only to strip everything away and show you the bare bones behind it all -- the whistling. And then goes into a complete tonal shift. It's also political, self-empowering, and just a good listen in general. it also kind of plays like a sequel to n----s in paris -- and is just as good in every way. dont let your pre convinced notions effect your enjoyment of the track in front of you
Mar 25, 2015 Wouldn't say Only One is fantastic. I still kinda like it but it has a huge problem as Kanye can't sing well. Also I usually like his use of autotune but I feel on Only One its was overdone. All Day is good but a bit of a disapointment because of the live version sounding alot better. He should have released the CDQ before the live performance as then it wouldn't have been as underwhelming. Wolves sounds amazing though.

I could write 10,000 words for it and then 10,000 words against it. Anybody who's taken AP English could do that. Arguing over music is like Goku vs. Superman. Conserve your energy, bro. Not implying that you shouldn't review Kanye tracks. You obviously have a thorough understanding of Kanye's music. I'm just saying being so militant about your opinion is ridiculous. Mar 25, 2015 I just find that it will fit better once I've heard the whole album, and for now it's just not as good as I was hoping it'd be. there's also a s--- ton of music coming out right now that's distracting me from this.
