    Kinda, i mean i checked out sean's new album and was pleasantly surprised by it even though i couldn't stand his other stuff, and i havent checked out ludacris' last few projects cos i havent liked his newer s--- at all, but i liked his newer album, i pretty much check out every project that has a decent amount of buzz behind it...

    EDIT: same with wayne with his new mixtape and lupe :idk:

    Not gonna lie he is pretty weird, if you don't like love story that's cool, just as long as you gave it a try instead of automatically dismissing him...

    g.d. it. Based on all the praise this was getting, I gave in and listened.
    This album is okay. It is not great, it is not a classic, it is not a top 2015 album contender.
    It is impressive in that it is a 6/10 album from a 4/10 artist, but that is about it.
    The writing on this album is so laughably bad, with some of the most boring, generic, overdone cliches ever.
    He tries a lot of different sounds on this album, but none are original, and he isn't great at executing any of them. That said, he should quit rapping and stick to singing. That's his obvious strong point and he could probably bring that up to a level where he'd be pretty good.
    There are a few good tracks I might replay from the album, but as a whole this thing drags on and is a real chore to get through.
    Focusing on the negatives because of the massive overrating going on around here, but it isn't terrible. There is some good stuff here, and I can see why Yelawolf fans would be excited about this project. It is an average album from an artist I thought could only produce absolute trash. I will never listen again, but I'm not pissed I spent the time listening once.
