    I understand the reasoning for the protests and all, but d--- it sucks this all happened just as the country was trying to recover from the coronavirus..I mean we go months without mass gatherings to try to contain this virus, then we have mass gatherings in basically every large city in the country.

    Now racial tensions couldn't be higher, Trump and the police are crazier than ever and we're probably due for our worst wave of the coronavirus yet..f---, scary times.

    The Boston thing rly upsets me tho. For obvious reasons. And while it’s imperfect it’s such a conscientious city that rly does prioritize equity. They don’t deserve f---ing @Grimace burning down Emerson’s campus etc (If He’s not being performative)

    And not to push the kid but two things:
    1. There’s absolutely tension about rioting in like, the financial district and hurting the immigrant and working class owned food establishments I used to patron (like barracudas shout out narsh), and then being like Welp! Time to Clock in y’all! Selfish.
    2. I told @Grimace to live stream ur antics the other day

    @Donkey Kong Cuntry i respect what you're saying, and I know that i said i was done, but one addendum to my previous post after reading yours:

    you recall that I initially said that I would rather see the targets/autozones/etc burn whole than to be looted and then burned. i still hold that same thought process today and in no way care about the wellbeing of those corporations in this situation (that said, i do feel bad for the mom and pop shops that were affected). nor do/have i condemned the riots as a whole, and am in agreement that without them, the message wouldn't be heard.

    i've only spent so much time and energy on the topic here instead of shifting my commentary/comradery on the larger topic at hand because of these back and forths...perhaps that's representative of the overarching/larger media shifting of focus on the topic...if everyone was in agreement/disagreement on this miniscule matter, then there would be no chatter to distract from. clearly, that's not the case, as represented in this thread alone.

    evil is evil, Paul. Lesser, greater, middling - it's all the same. I'm not judging you, I haven't only done "good" in my life either. But now, if I have to choose between one evil and another? then I prefer not to choose at all.

    someone called the station and was told it'd be an hour before they could get back to them about that, and couldn't confirm if he was there or not..

    i hate how there's so many people defending this guy missing or cops shooting at people on their porches, it's really scaring me for this country's future..It seems we aren't too far away from cops or even someone Trump ordered opening fire on a large crowd of people and there'd be a lot of people out there defending it somehow.

    ...and again, I don't understand what your point is. I've said numerous times that no one is surprised by cops acting like this, that's why everyone is out there in the first place. The point is that cops should not be allowed to do this, no one is debating whether or not they will at this moment in time.

    Do you think it's just and necessary for cops to g--- up with 10 of their goons and beat the s--- out of someone because they stood on a cop car?
