    I know. But its super cringe to think we listen to songs that aligns with “our views” and we shouldnt listen to opposite songs for their views

    Please don’t mention the worst pop rock song of all time. That song explains 0 sides of the story. Kind of obvious when no one was bumping it and black hip hop artist were making fun of the cringe song. I had the DEA accuse my drivers license being fake just because I didn’t have a criminal record. You don’t think that’s violating my rights? If I made the wrong move, they were ready to s---t me. But I was packing too.

    there is no form of protest that cops would find calm/civil enough, it’s insanely, indefensibly naive to believe this. find me evidence of a single protest this century that had any teeth or consequence that wasn’t derided at the time for being “destructive” or whatever. this is a country that tied itself in knots over some famous athletes kneeling.

    it’s also not a tragedy that some buildings burned down. what’s not covered by insurance will be rebuilt largely w money donated by the very communities that are protesting right now — not from outsiders who sit back and concern-troll while it happens.
