    Who r u, Mansa Musa and Left right seem to be kinda radio reaches by Dre but they're not that catchy. Album fire tho

    “Smile/Petty” & “Mansa Musa” are def the low points on this album for me. Not that I particularly think they’re bad but like others have said, they make the album drag a bit. I’m torn about “smile/petty” though because I like the second half of the song a lot. That beat change is nasty.

    Just finished my second listen. I think this can rival Malibu but most people will prefer Malibu (including myself) because it’s more accessible in a sense. .paak still has that distinct sound that we’ve heard throughout his career but this is definitely more cinematic & not as soulful as Malibu.

    I also think .paak wants the listener to pay more attention to detail with this project. With his other projects, Malibu especially, you can really just vibe with it & feel the emotion in his singing. There’s defintley moments of that here too but he also raps a lot more on here & with songs like “6 Summers” it’s clear he wants you to pay closer attention.

    just finished 1st listen. I really liked it! What a cool, funky, relaxing, bouncy album :) production is top notch
    I feel like the middle of the album (tracks 4-9) is really strong. I also love the last track.
    Trippy and Cheers (the Cole and Tip collabs) don't really do it for me on 1st listen tbh, but I hope they grow on me

    (Pusha renegades the whole s--- once again btw)
    (that production on Brother's Keeper is truly flawless)
