    I'm probably the only noob here, but I can't stand watching/reading multiple shows at once. Probably why I'm so slow at progressing through series that I pick up.

    Been on my Vagabond grind since the start of the year. :ray:

    Is what I never get is that people watch family guy, Rick & morty ect ect . But then dog on anime .

    bleach is only 4 episodes in. So far I’m enjoying it. The animation is great. Seems like it’s going to shape up to be a pretty exciting arc. I haven’t read the manga so I don’t know how good it actually is.

    Also watching an older anime called Great Teacher Onizuka. Super entertaining but you can't release something like this in this day and age lol

    Great Opening by L'Arc en Ciel as well. It's the band of Japans biggest rockstar Hyde

    @Donkey Kong Country the Ghost Stories dub uses dark edgy Family Guy type humor. Not sure if that's your type of thing. It's completely different from the Japanese version

    Here's an example from the 1st episode (which is the only one I watched so far):

    I always recommend animes like:
    Attack on Titan
    Death Note
    Monster
    Cowboy Bebop
    Rainbow

    ...for beginners, or people who are relatevly new to the genre.
    And then stuff like:
    Code Geass
    Full Metal Alchemist
    Hunter x Hunter
    Inuyashiki
    Dororo
    Black Butler
    Wolf's rain
    Psycho Pass
    Ergo Proxy
    Erased
    Neon Genesis Evangelion
    Yu Yu Hakusho
    Hellsing Ultimate

    etc.

    I only started 3-4 years ago to watch anime(besides the mainstream stuff like DBZ or Naruto) and I am really impressed how well written some of these characters and how deep and meaningful some story elements are. AoT for example is a top 5 show for me across all genres.

    Man then I strongly recommend to watch Attack on Titan, it is top notch writing for real. I am super impressed.
