    No but seriously though I'm binging Brotherhood for the first time rn

    I watched the original one years ago and kept procrastinating watching brotherhood until now, mostly because the original never really left that much of an impact, and I lost interest in shounen a short while after I saw the original.

    Brotherhood = follows the original story

    What does anime sxn think of xenoblade chronicles x (not a show but there's no "anime based game" chat threads)

    Also can anyone recommend me a good anime focused around mechs, something like zoids but better lol

    the classic mecha anime would be Gundam altho it might be a bit dated

    If you want something fun go for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan

    im not a big a mecha fan so idk other than that, code geass & nge arent really mecha anime even tho they're the main form of combat. the focus is somewhere else

    Thanks bro, I remember seeing bits of Gundam as a kid, I think I'll check that one out first.

    Seperate question, has anyone watched this anime called Appleseed?

    Edit: I don't remember if it was a movie or series but I watched it a lot as a kid

    Unfortunately, I don't really think I'll find most of them interesting.
    I'll probably watch all the ova though.

    The new persona movie. I'm excited.

    Mechs are kinda meh for me, but I really enjoyed Full Metal Panic in spite of it. It gets pretty mech heavy as it goes on. Idk if there was an anime though

    Nothing on the myanimelist page looks particularly appealing to me except maybe Persona

    I started watching To Love Ru last night because of the anime trends thread. I'm only three episodes in but it's an absurd mess and I love it

    That's what I was thinking too, a lot of people are really disappointed with the upcoming season lol

    I picked out a couple of shows I'll check out though:
    Sekkou Boys (Who doesnt want to watch greek statues voiced by seiyuu?)
    Musaigen no Phantom World (KyoAni = Auto pickup)
    Mahou Shoujo Komugi-chan R (/a/ was hyped about it)

    and then Kizumonogatari & Koyomimonogatari isn't even a question

    To love ru is probably the best harem anime of all time (if not, then definitely in the top 5).
    The characters are actual characters and not just bland nothings to fall in love with the protagonist and even rito isn't bad

    Rito is goat for self inserting, and all the girls are so amazingly qt that u almost overdose on moe. TLR is best at doing what harem garbage is supposed to do.

    Like I said, I'm only three episodes in so I don't have much to say on the show right now. I agree with the characters being actual characters, though. The opening episode was really fun, but I'm glad that it seems to be fleshing out more
