And if you didn't notice there's a huge difference between the big rap threads and smaller subcommunities like this one. Clickbait titles like "kendrick fell off" or "x is s---" doesn't even make any sense here, because the people who follow this thread are going to see it either way. It's like you don't know how comfy generals work.

I don't get why anyone would want to insult series they don't like, like why would you waste your time with that instead of discussing something you're actually interested in discussing.

When you post s--- like "if you're gonna have your opinions and hold onto it, than you better be ready to defend it," it seems as if you think discussions should be like a battle of who has the "right" opinion, it's just sad. This is just a comfy thread with few people where we chat casually and there's literally no need to stir s--- up for no reason. Like why are you coming in here calling everything s--- and trying to assert some sort of pathetic superiority over people who straight up don't give a f---? Half of the people in here haven't watched more than 50 anime, and just want recommendations or to chat about series they finished.

Bottom line is unlike reddit/MAL forums, we watch Anime because it's fun, not because we want to aggressively discuss some sort of pretentious "objective" qualities that don't even exist.

Im halfway through first season and i think its okay but the romance "twists" are kinda cringe and predictable for me. The music is also kinda ehh. But i like the core story a lot

I mean it would fit into the story but the way it enters it is sudden, awkward and very predictable. I haven't watched the whole show yet though

So I added all my anime and manga watches/reads and I must say I'm severely lacking in both departments.

Anime I just added all the old shows I could remember watching as a kid to bloat my stats

Manga I'm surprised I've read very little of it. I could've sworn I read more in 2014.

Ashita no Joe still my favourite series to read OAT. Alongside Real of course but I have no idea when Inoue will continue the series.

That's nice and all but it wouldn't really be baitey if I sincerely believed most of what I was saying, which I do, lol.

Well that's easy, it's to save people from wasting their time, energy, and money in series that I consider to be drivel. Like, if anything you shouldn't be thanking me, I'm doing a public service. Reading/watching series that I thought were going to be good, but ended up being absolute garbage, I have every right to spew "negativity" especially if I wasted valuable hours I'll never get back. That said you shouldn't get all "hoity toity" with me and get this holier than thou attitude, didn't you pretty much call all long battle shounen to be garbage? Zomg, that's offensive to my fragile delicate sensibilities, mate, take that back.

You don't think trashing and having a laugh at series you consider to be terrible, can't somehow fall under "comfy and casual discussion"?

Before you try and paint me as some sort of mean old bully, lol, you're prob the only one who's really really bothered by my presence in this thread, not to mention I came in here asking if people liked berserk and wanted to discuss it, to which you pretty much gave me a rude greeting basically saying I'm unwelcome, that was even before I made my favorite series clear, and trashed any other series. But besides that, I've recced series to music, and discussed dragonball civilly with three, and yeh. I'm not this big ole boogieman you think I am, lol.

Lol, you have some seriously werid thought process if you think I don't enjoy watching/reading series because they're fun, lol. For chrissake I'm a gigantic fan of DB and One piece, lol.

Read Shamo & All Rounder Meguru if you're a fan of sports manga, the former is very grisly & violent though. Both are great MMA series, I assume you already checked out ippo. & ofc Adachi mitsuru manga are always classics
