My opinions aren't even that controversial, sure maybe to otaku/weaboos who only watch anime they might be, but to the average everyman they really really aren't lol.

Don't recall ever saying this, lol. I mean I don't expect everyone to agree with me, it'd be boring if that was the case, and I'm certainly not naive enough to believe that everyone will take heed to me trashing those series. But at least having another opinion that isn't just repeating what the choir is saying, will maybe make them more hesitant to check whatever series out right away. And no, I certainly don't hold these opinions just to be edgy or contrarian or different or anything, lol, (I mean sure you can believe that if you want), I'm just posting my opinion on said series. Which isn't any worse than when you decried all long battle shounen as trash, which is blatantly untrue.

How am I being close minded when I patently asked ppl to challenge my opinions and asked for a discussion which you ran away from? lol, I'm not unwavering in my stances, lmfao.

I only brought that up because you DID initiate that unwelcoming post to me after I just asked for a discussion on berserk, cause you had some weird grudge against me in some other stupid thread, lol. Somehow you value your opinions so much that you think they're helpful for every1 else. You're pretty self-centered lol, I didn't just rec s--- to you. lol, but even when I did rec s--- to you how on god's green earth am I supposed to know that you wouldn't like the series I champion? Like there is very little in common with the series that I herald as great, like literally, not much in common. I guess maybe if you hate deep themes that make you think (Nausicaa, Akira, Legend of the galactic heroes, Osayami punpun), Gorgeous artwork (berserk, akira, Lone wolf and cub, again nausicaa) that doesn't look like every generic animu/manga out there, and great storytelling (all of them). I mean really do you hate seinen, maybe violence, I'm being serious here, like how the f--- would I know you wouldn't like those series, they really don't have much in common.

I can at least understand you hating long battle shounen, even if some of them are executed really well (DB & One Piece) cause they have something in common, but like the rest, you just don't like?

Like you can call me an elitist but you can't really generalize those series, lol, at least when I deride harems, I can generalize that most of em have horrible and generic mcs with no backbone and every girl wants to unzip his pants for no reason? Like I hate self insert crap, so that's out of the picture for me?
