    Has anyone read the hunter x hunter manga? Just wondering if it's worth a read. Only manga iI have ever read is dragon ball super.

    i usually turn really bitter when watching romances, and shounen can be really hit or miss as well

    do you think its still worth adding to my backlog?

    Idk enough about Fate but its the first time I've heard anyone mention a "true" ending

    All I know is it's centered around Sakura, with more focus on Illya than the other routes.

    I also don't know enough about TYPE's lore to really argue anything (some of that s--- is ridiculous how detailed and intertwined it goes)

    But I played the original VN a while ago and I remember only being able to play it after two other endings (fate and unlimited blade works) were done.
    It was more lore based (you learn a lot about previous Holy Grail wars and the Masters, etc.)


    Also you got to
    save Sakura and Rider in it, and Rin makes it out okay too
    And
    In the true ending,
    Illya sacrifices herself and Shirou lives happily ever after with his harem
    which is the happiest ending

    If you're not into romances this probably won't be the show that changes your mind. It pretty much lives and dies by its comedy which is more hit than miss at the moment, but even then it doesn't do anything particularly new in that regard. It's cute and entertaining, and I'm not likely to drop it at this point, but I'm not sure it's something I'll ever go back to

    I know Chiyo would want you to watch it

    I just finished it

    I'm not sure how I feel about this overall. It's an interesting premise, but it was all over the place and nothing really stuck with me

    This is incomparable to Angel Beats

    Tomori might be one of my favorite female protagonists from Jun Maeda though, second to Makoto
