what if we had a media only filter next to the 'best posts' filter? Th way this filter would work is basically it will only show posts that contain some variation of a link/image/gif/video. Filtering out all the unnecessary "this is so tragic!" posts, for example.

This is a really good idea. It could also be useful in a long artist chat thread to easily find YouTube videos etc.

Its been a hot summer on S80. A few weeks ago the forum erupted in flames when the streak feature was introduced. Now we about to raise the temperature even higher with a tight race for top poster of the month. The winner will be declared champion of July and be rewarded the God Flame. Let's check the leader board.

@Michael Myers is currently in the top spot with @Rick James not far behind. We even got a few new entries with @the kid on mars trying to crack into the top 5. While @joeyp363 is trying to throw @Donkey Kong Cuntry out of the 3rd spot. Its about to be lit final 2 weeks of the month and beyond as our best battle it out for the god flame. There is only 1 so you must win again to keep it the following month.

due to some demand...we installed new feature that some might wanna use...now if you follow someone (or if you already following someone, you can unfollow then re-follow for these new options)...you get this box

if you decided to pick one of them, you will get an alert once he make a thread for example...can be useful in some cases

For the and maybe others if desired, what about adding the ability to have thread title "flair" similar to what certain sections of reddit have for you to use when you submit a post? And then on top of that, we could have thread titling guidelines to help people keep things uniform and easier to browse.

Example of this on reddit:

And here's how I think it could work for the Creative SXN:

Say for example I want to post my next EP, The Autumn Storm once it releases. I go to make a thread, and in the process I can choose from multiple "flair" options like "EP" "LP" "Art" "Song" "Artist" (for artist threads) "Lyrics" etc.. I choose "EP". I then title my thread following these example guidelines for music posting:

Title - Artist [Genre]

The result suddenly transforms the CreativeSXN into something like this:

The Autumn Storm - Cyreides [Ambient/Electronic/Hip Hop]
Dirty Money - SIMHA [Hip Hop]
Darkest Place - Somerandomexampleguy [Oil Painting]
Embrace The Strange - Celtique [Noir/Hip Hop]
N9NETY 5IVE 8IGHTY 3HREE - LasiK [Hip Hop]
It's not perfect, and everyone won't always follow it, but it looks much better than this:

Featured 'section' at the top of the @CreativeSXN that catalogues all the (good) releases from the SXN, like those featured in the SXN80 Label thread.

All of the covers link to the album/EP itself.

So Above is a list of people I think We should try and get a cosign with. #2,3,4 are radio show hosts for hip hop stations. Ill add to the list based on suggestions.

The Plan
So the plan is to try and get a cosign or a shout out from as many people on the list as we can.

The Goal
Once we have a cosign or a few shout outs it will help build the community. The growth in the community will help us create more and the site will grow over all and just get better.

there been lots of semi nude pics posted lately, we have very small mods group (outside me/has/funk its almost non existence)

we added the following global mods

please delete any nude or semi nude pics (thongs shots for example) anything outside of NSFW section is not allowed that include any sort of nudity or gore s---

we have demodded the following mods and plussed them instead...they were mods for their status with SL as they have told me non directly before that they have no intentions of modding, we decided to plus them instead
