It came to my attention while browsing this magnificent site, that threads currently have a cool 'filter' to them in a sense. I'm referring to that lovely heart shaped button that sorts posts in the thread from most liked to least liked posts. Now honestly, it's one of the greatest systems to be implemented in the 21st century, but a thought occurred to me...

Why stop there?

What if you were browsing a thread related to a news article/life event extremely important to you, so you want to make sure you get every update? Well currently you can, but it's painful because inconsiderate a--- holes flood these types of threads with things like "my thoughts and prayers are with the victims"

This is where my big idea comes in... what if we had a media only filter next to the 'best posts' filter? Th way this filter would work is basically it will only show posts that contain some variation of a link/image/gif/video. Filtering out all the unnecessary "this is so tragic!" posts, for example.

The news article/life event scenario is just an example where such a hacker mod would come in handy. In the time it's taken me to type up this post though, I've realized another time where this would be handy. The s80 members picture thread. It's essentially a "picture" thread, but there's a lot of roasting going on and adding this mod would triple as a safe space for the virgins, whilst making it easier to navigate the thread and finding images of posters to then dox them.

@Help 3.0 is coming out soon and this is an opportunity you do not want to miss out on. PM me and I'll happily sell the rights for this idea to you guys for a small one time fee of a hundred bucks, so that you may implement it in time for 3.0.

Thanks guys

Its crazy actually reading through this thread, I'm glad quite a few of you enjoy my posts/find me amusing

All the members I was competing against are respected here and its cool to be put in the same category as them.

Its almost been 8 months since I joined the site. When I first signed up, I didn't have any plans of staying. All I was aiming for was to troll/piss people, since I had some extra time on my hands due to hurting my knee ( @Loyalty ). A crappy SL experience led me to believe I'd only be around for a week or so until I eventually bounced, but you guys were cool about it and welcomed me. Over these last few months I've made a lot of friends on here. I check s80 on the daily, not so much because of the music anymore, but because of the people on here. I would've never thought I'd find people that enjoy 17 year olds ( @AnalOnFirstDate ) /anime/anal bleaching ( @Maximus ) as much as I do on a rap forum, the community here is great.

Thanks @Koolo for making and putting so many of your resources into the site, I remember you used to be a d-ck on SL and join in on the worst poster stuff that used to push a lot of people away, but during my time here I've seen you personally welcome several new members and encourage them to post more, I think its dope. I've never seen such an active owner on any other forum that actually knows his members so well. Thanks to the rest of the staff/mods for making the site run well.

I could be having a crappy/stressful day, but I can always come to s80 knowing I'll leave with a smile on my face.

I'll go with Sony ( @Chad Warden ) and take the PS4, but my real prize is @Jaya coming back

7 years as a mod with no heroin/kid p--- scandal. It was good run.
