i would amend what @Dew is saying. go through dj quik's catalog in order. try everyone who was involved with the good life and project blowed--skim youtube, get albums from the guys who appeal to you.

I'd also throw in Holla At Me, When We Ride, Ratha Be Ya, All Eyez On Me and Ain't Hard 2 Find which all range from great-classic. Holla At Me has some of the best verses of his career.

All Eyez On Me is my absolute GOAT album.

Edit- I'm also laughing at everybody saying Pac and Kendrick would be BFFs. Pac didn't have friends in rap. He had the Outlawz and that was it. He went at absolutely everybody in the industry on 7 Day Theory.

All Eyez On Me gets s--- on these days for having filler, but there's only like 4 tracks that I'd really consider filler out of 27 songs. And I wish they included the single version of California Love. The album is loaded with gems. The best 20 or so songs on All Eyez on Me are some of the best songs Pac ever released. Glad you mentioned Holla At Me, those verses are legendary.

Me Against the World is my all-time favorite rap album, but All Eyez On Me isn't far behind.

I personally love All Eyez On Me. My favorite project from Pac. The song "All Eyez On Me" actually got me into Pac's music a few years ago when I started digging deeper into the roots of hip-hop. Kinda pissed I was born in early '96 tbh. Missed out on some great music. At least there's the internet and it's easier than ever to find stuff.

Edit: Didn't mean to derail the thread :kyrie:

hmmm it's probably good you haven't heard it, would recommend you stay away. Tony Hawks underground 2 put me on him lol.

Crazy to think this guy lost his voice and just ghostwrites for big name rappers now.
Also, wonder what happened to that vocal chord surgery he was apparently getting???
Edit: @Dew fun fact, apparently the new white guy that signed to Dre was originally signed under the DOC

His reviews are pretty good. But I don't know why alot seem to really anticipate Fantano & Pitchorks reviews though as if their review is final.
Fantano is extremely corny with his humour as well.
