Mar 17, 2016 whats wrong with what he said? he's saying here that there's a system for immigration that's in place currently and it's being abused by the cartels and crime syndicates to send mules and criminals over the border who live like they're above the law. he's not against mexicans. he's against the abuse of the system in place and the criminals using these exploitable channels to get through and pollute the US. he literally said "And some, I assume, are good people." . He doesn't want to create a blockade from them he wants to create a filter to make sure the good people get through and the bad ones stay out. He's not wrong about obama either.
Mar 17, 2016 no he's trying to make the best out of what is a bad, dangerous, and scary situation. when you have jihadists saying they're going to come to the west and make attacks you can't just sit back and let them in because you don't want to hurt the feelings of the good muslims. as the leader of a country your #1 priority is to protect the people of your country. he admits that it's just a cross section of the muslim world. as for him supporting the idea after getting threats, why would he withdraw his statements? should he just fold because the threat of terrorism is there? im not even saying i support this particular strategy but if he folds now and redacts his statement because of a threat then the terrorists win.
