Jan 2, 2016 Totally agree with this. Also your perception on age changes as you get older too. I remember when I was like 17 I thought 25 was ancient. I thought 25 year old girls were MILFs. Now at 31 I think 25 is young as f---. I'm sure when I'm 45 I'll think 30 year olds are babies.

You don't see the subtle changes in people around you until you get thrown back by an old photo or video etc. Some of my most philosophical moments are at night when I'm just lying on my bed waiting to fall asleep. I should really keep a journal of my thoughts and read them the next day or something. I mean it's always good to look back and be appreciative of a time period that's well gone. People say they hate nostalgia but I'm a sucker for it. Time is undefeated.
Jan 2, 2016 That's not perception that's denial lol. Kidding but I see what you're saying. Times are different though. When you and I were 16 and 17 you were supposed to be grown the f--- up at 25. Now I expect everybody I meet that under the age of 27 to be living with their parents. Times and expectations are different. Also one of the best things about youth is looking good. That's all moot though when people are young and party/do drugs/have kids and they are f---ing Larry Holmes status at the age of 21. I had some chubby little b------ at the gym come up and ask me questions the other day and he's there riding my d-ck when he ask my age. The kid goes "oh wow I didn't know you were f--- you're old bro!" I told him yeah well I'd rather be a 30 year old fitness model than a flabby and sick 25 year old with 3 kids and two ex-wives who bangs hammers for a living. He got quiet real quick. I don't know about that. I work with a lot of people and a LOT of men in the 25-45 age range. I can't remember the last time one of the said "Man, I'm so happy with my wife and kids." It's all negative. They wish they never got married. They wish they never had kids. Their kids are f--- ups/hate them. They're miserable with their wives. One of my clients last month caught his wife having an affair with a co-worker. He found out they'd been f---ing and his and his wife's bed as well as a bathroom in Starbucks. I'm pretty cynical but I don't think the happily ever after thing really exists. Have you seen Gone Girl? That's actually a really accurate portrayal of a modern day marriage/relationship. It's not so bad man. You're tall, you work out and take care of yourself, ect... You'll be just hitting your prime. I turned 30 this year if I were single..... oh my GOD lol...... I've never been approached by women like this in my life. I'll have a 17-18 year old girl try and f--- me and then her 45 year old Mother will try and do the exact same. It's kind of crazy. Jan 3, 2016 It's crazy how time flies once you reach adulthood. I remember always wanting to be older when i was a kid but once you reach age 18 the years after that just fly by. It sometimes amazes me when i think about it. Getting called ''Mr'' or ''sir'', older folks treating you as one of them, kids looking up to you. s--- makes me realize i am a grown a--- man with responsibilities and i won't ever be young again.
Jan 3, 2016 This is me every night I can't sleep tbh, its definitely a scary thought and it's easier said then done to just not think about it. Especially from my pov working everyday 7 days a week to go home and sleep is even worse. Like I just turned 20 and I shouldn't be having these d--- thoughts, i'm young as h--- still. I have had a gf for three years so I don't have that full freedom like I used too as well. Work, Girlfriend, going back to school again soon without not even knowing what I want to be yet is a lot of pressure.
