    there are actually cases for the phone that have leaked that don't allow a headphone to be put into the phone.

    well i guess i'm not moving past the 6 then once i get it. not until there's a reasonable way to use the kind of earbuds/headphones the vast majority of people use with devices like this or until they bring it back (which i doubt they will)

    The headphone thing will be a massive fail on Apple's part if, as expected, they go through with it.

    not for me, i need the space from the regular 6 or 6+

    got around 110 gigs of music in my iTunes, and it would be a waste of my free upgrade to take an SE over those

    really don't see the big deal about removing the headphone jack... they'll be releasing bluetooth headphones to go with it, and also offer an adapter for people who want to use their 3rd party headphones. i also wouldn't be surprised if they offered a plug-in bluetooth adapter to go into existing 3rd party headphones to convert them to a bt device.

    I'll pass since I'm trying to switch carriers rn and have to pay off my 6s Plus's balance to do so and I dont feel like shelling out 300 something for a dp on a new phone on a carrier that I want to leave.

    almost everyone i know uses earbuds to listen to music, and i myself do to

    i'm not a fan of having to drop money on earbuds and adapters (if they even offer them, which i doubt), and i don't want to have to use bluetooth, which would require much more expensive earbuds (do they even make bluetooth earbuds?) or headphones. s--- is also a battery drain on any phone

    they're deliberately kicking the standard jack for audio to the curb for no good reason

    i think you misread. almost everyone does use earbuds to listen to music...and that's why if apple were to remove the headphone jack, they would also package the phone with bluetooth headphones (replacement for the classice white buds they release with their phones today). lol they wouldn't be discontinuing the ability to listen to music.

    people will probably get pissed they can't use some of their existing 3rd party headphones today, which is why i figure they're offer an adapter for pepole who want to continue to use non bt buds.

    ...and they're not deliberately kicking the standard jack for "no good reason"... it's for 2 reasons: 1.) to make room for more internals -- if the leaks are to be believed, they're replacing that space with a second speaker, which imo, has been desperately needed for a long time now...2.) to make way for thinner devices -- whether or not the i7 will be so skinny as to not allow for the headphone to fit, i'm not sure, but if not i7, then i8...apple has a tendency to continue to shrink things in thinness.

    Either way ill get a free upgrade. But i think ill wait n see if there are any bugs etc. n decide after its out if ill upgrade
