    there are no trap beats on compton. neither drake nor fetty wap is a trap artist.

    Well, I guess I don't know the way to describe it. I was trying to sound hip and cool. Whatever you call the simplistic drums that sound nothing like Dre's signature drums.

    Whether it was the g funk era in the 90s or the piano/drums - no samples in the 2001 era, the signature Dre sound made you nod your head.

    I can't say that a beat on this album has done that yet.

    so arch dogg's underlying reasoning is that compton sux bc nothing on it can be played on radio and won't be a mass hit with white 16 year old boys wanting to rap along to Forget About Dre every 15 minutes at parties.
