Yeah really exciting thread I know,

However I’m tired of buying sub-par $200 vacuums that die or are practically useless in like a year. I’m thinking of getting the v12 slim or v15 slim. Obviously it’s a lot of money, and while I could get a professional vacuum at that price range, I really need something cordless.

If any of ya’ll have gone ahead and purchased one, should I just go for it? Or would you recommend something else?

They’re good, but the latest I’ve been using for years now is my Shark cordless one, I swear by it & I have a longhaired cat too.

I’m actually interested in this too. I’ve been eyeing some Dyson products lately.

It seems like it's either Shark or Dyson for mainstream top-tier vacuums. And I've been debating which to get. Do you know which model you got? Cause I do have a dog, but he doesn't shed that much, and my house isn't that huge.

They definitely have a lot of cool things. I just wonder sometimes if it's more hype over value, because of how they present their products

IZ200 but they have the IZ202 now, not sure what improvements it’s made but seems like some sorta refresh. They’re really easy to clean as well, & I love how lightweight & manoeuvrable they are, with lights on the bottom to help your vision in cramp spaces too.

They remind me of Beats products, a lot spent on branding. Doesn’t mean they’re bad by any means, but it definitely lowers their price/performance ratio.

I looked into it, and it's unironically not a bad option at all lmao

I ended up buying the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute, I guess Amazon saw I was continually looking at the same few vacuums and gave me an "exclusive" major discount? I didn't know they did that. Anyways, it was pretty much the same price as the Shark Stratos and Samsung Jet vacuums I was looking at, so I was a sucker and just bought it.

Arrives on Monday, hope it was the right choice

I have a cordless Dyson V8 Absolute and after 6ish yrs still love it.
I have 3 short haired cats, so lots of fur generally around and as any woman my hair is everywhere. BUT I have read many good things about Shark vacuums, also Miele.
I think Dyson has become a more of a status vacuum than performing the best.

If you buy a dyson, I would recommend buying a back up filter, roller, side fuzzies ect to keep the longevity of the head of the vacuum. Once those fuzzies run down, they will scratch any stone floor you have. But they are easy enough to change over with off brand as long as you have a star head screw driver
