Mar 28, 2016 its very generic. completely uninspiring. gets boring on the first listen, due to its severe lack of originality.
Mar 29, 2016 just my experience i was walking along a residential street yesterday and somebody f---ing ran by singing dripping at the top of their lungs
Mar 29, 2016 Have you watched any recent concerts of his? The medium-large size venues are completely packed and crazy, they know all of the lyrics and everything. Thug has cultivated a very real cultish fanbase, and it only seems to be growing with the overwhelmingly positive reception of SS3. I've seen various people talk about how it's been the project to finally convert them. Sales really don't mean anything anymore these days thanks to streaming
Mar 30, 2016 I mean from a mainstream POV. Neither of the previous slime seasons were received like this one. This one is like the conversion project where people who previously ignored dude are hopping on board
Mar 30, 2016 I've also seen older fans saying how impressed they are with thugs vocal versatility too. I think SS3 brought back some people who weren't f---ing with I'm Up
Mar 30, 2016 I don't think any true OG Thugger fans hopped off the bandwagon after I'm Up in fact you only really see how special it is if you've heard Thugs entire range up until that point (as far as official releases go.)
Mar 30, 2016 What the last guy said. I'm up showed the most restrained side to thug to date. It was only a disappointment to the fans ss2/ss1 brought in There's nothing really (even Drippin) that shows new range to thugs vocals on here. It's just the it's his most concise and "focused" project to date so it has more traditional fans hoping on board
Mar 30, 2016 Ss1 and 2 have a handful of songs better than the best tracks on here, with ease I'm just hoping you guys go back and revist that s--- now
Mar 30, 2016 Yeah, you're right. Good to hear SS3 is more album-esque. Maybe Thugger will be able to pull off a great album.
