With Movies breaking a billion casually kinda are we now in the Golden Age of movies in terms of production, story, direction, score and general impact on society. Even that trash Frozen girl got little 5 year olds dressing up singing the WOAT song

Birth of a Nation (1915) had a little more impact than Frozen.
Gone With The Wind (1939) is the highest grossing film when adjusted for inflation.
    Ben-Hur (1959) was a 4 hour , 70mm epic with 15,000 extras and an 18 acre set.

The Golden Age of Hollywood is generally considered to have occurred from 1920-1960.

Yeah the billion casually dosen't mean much, if you look at the top 20 highest grossing films after ticket price inflation Avatar is the only movie made in the 2000s to break the list.

Cinematography and graphics are always improving, but sometimes you just can't beat the classics like Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather and LOTR.
