To all the people saying Yeezus is bad, I'm sorry but you're just too basic. That's all there is to it. You just weren't meant to listen to progressive music, and are cursed to one day be the"back in my day" type old man

    But yeh, I'd say Kanye

I don't even like Drake that much but he fits the bill

    Tyler as well

And I know that @Koolo said it had to be studio albums but idk Owl Pharaoh and Days Before Rodeo by Travi$ are excellent projects even though they're just mixtapes. Not a single bad song imo just one that I don't like (Bandz ft Meek Mill)

And based off the snippets of Rodeo I heard so far I'm just gonna pre-emptively say it's good. So that's 3 projects :p

" He’s specifically referencing a twitter exchange with the infamous “Koolo” who leaked the “Straight from the Vault” mixtape as well as both Echo and Living Proof and due to the leaks those songs were made bonus tracks instead of included as official tracks."

People said the Beatles s----d when they first started. When you break the mold so heavily, dudes who listen to basic music are bound to hate. People who are up on it in rap and appreciate progression and forward movement in music enjoy Yeezus.

I think if you delete any verses from the album you got an actually pretty interesting selection of modern beats.

    Shame for the Kanye rapping

I disagree. There's more to raps than verbal acrobatics. Kanye delivers in the flow/tone aspect of rap. I agree that the bars are pretty weak but tbh I quit caring about"sick barz" when I was 13. His voice and delivery fits his music, to the point where it sounds like another instrument and not someone reciting essays over it

jump outta bush in a sneak attack's

bush as in hair around a vagina, bush as in the president, bush as in a plant, bush as in beating around a conversation

someone was bitching about this earlier, does that count as a quadruple entendre?

I am not interested really on verbal acrobatics. I just want somebody which can rap. And I mean rap properly with a good flow and a basic set of skills about various subject matters.

Kanye can't even do that tbh

I don't like talk about Kanye, because he really got certified classics but I hate his rapping and for that I could never get into his music. But when you see so much people calling him goat is hard to ignore him.
