Sep 4, 2022 Two Chicago rappers, Chance and Vic Mensa had incredible break out projects then fell off hard and became two of the most cringey personalities in hip hop.
Sep 5, 2022 Lloyd banks. He focused too much on the mixtape scene. Even 50 cent has mentioned in interviews that he didn’t understand why Lloyd banks was just rapping for free when he could of been making money the entire time . And yeah, he’s a respected rapper in the underground. But I think he could of been a lot bigger than he was/is.
Sep 5, 2022 Too many to name all really. But #1 100% goes to R Kelly. Honerable mentions: B.O.B (conspiracy theory s---) Ice Cube (are we there yet) Kanye (Jesus s---)
Sep 5, 2022 Definitely a sell out but he pulls it off well imo. I'd hardly call him a one trick pony though. Music, crypto, TV ads, football coach to name the first things that come to me with what he's done/doing. h---, he even directed p--- at one point!
Sep 6, 2022 This. I think it's fair to argue if you think his music has declined in quality (Jesus-influenced censoring is valid, here), but he's been religious his whole career so I think it's a bit wrong to pin his entire [perceived] decline just on that.
Sep 6, 2022 This one hurts, tbh...going from as big and consistent as he was (several playable mixtapes, a couple album gems) to literally n-o-t-h-i-n-g. I watched one of his latest music videos the other day and it wasn't good. You hate to see it.
