@blair I remember you being a huge George W. Bush fan on RB... you think he was a better President than President Obama?

I think you're trying to hard to believe that Trump won by uncovering a racist underbelly of America and not realizing that he won due to such a large demographic of the US (mostly middle class) wanting change in America. Obama won in 2008 because he campaigned on change in politics and a fresh start, Bernie made it so far this year because his ideas threatened the status quo, and Trump won the presidency due to a campaign based on change. Do you see the trend? If Donald Trump won just because he campaigned on white nationalism, why have Republican.

    Republican votes:
    2008: 59.9 million; 2012: 60.9 million; 61.5 million

    Democratic votes:
    2008: 69.5 million; 2012: 65.9 million; 62.8 million

This election hasn't brought out some radical racists to the Republican party. It's just that voter turnout for the Democratic party has been on a downward trend while Republican voter turnout has remained consistent. This election isn't radically different in terms of who's voting for who; Democrats are just on a downward shift in terms of voting.

I'll say it again, this all really boils down to the economy. The government has overstepped and driven a disparity between classes and taken away true capitalism. When America was at our height of prosperity, it allowed capitalism to reign and people to make their own decisions. A powerful government does much more harm than good, as shown by lack of jobs, corporations leaving the US, and difficulty to move up in socioeconomic status. Trump is a genius when it comes to the economy and I believe when we instill a free market, the disparity between smaller issues will begin to decrease and we can come together as a whole.

Labor force participation rate: 65.7% (94.7 mil)
    National debt: $10.6 trillion

    Today
Labor force participation rate: 62.8% (80.5 mil)
    National debt: $19.2 trillion

Only president not to have a single year of 3% GDP growth (coming out of a recession, how come we didn't have a year of incredible GDP growth?)
Americans who own homes down 5.6%
And unemployment rate will decrease coming out of a recession no matter what policies are instilled, as long as you have some form of the free market.

    Thanks President Obama.

@ANOZ the labor force participation rate is down because of the Baby Boomers.

Not because of President Obama. This has been forecasted since the 1980's. More people were born in America between 1946 to 1964... by far and away.

People who are 70 years old don't participate in the work force. Dummy.

I don't even know if it's worth responding to the rest of your gobbley gook.

    You know what? f--- it.

The Republican got less votes this year too... just like the 2008 and 2012 elecetions.... the 2004 election was the only Presidential election where the Republican received more votes than the Democrat since 1988... and George W. Bush was a terrible President and his second term was an abortion.

I hear a lot of assholes in the CEC cherry pick the "Obama never had a GDP over 3%" factoid... does that mean anything? No. It's desperately grasping at straws.

This is what the GDP has looked like for the last 50 years:

Looks like Obama basically did as well as every other post war President and they all did better than Bush43 who s--- the bed.

Race relations are bad because no one stopped a White Nationalistic campaign on the way to the White House... not because of business regulations. What planet do you live on?

Great insult, really got me bad the 3rd time you tried to get my attention with it. f---ing loser.

Yeah, 6 hours after the election is over all the markets skyrocket by that due to assurances from Obama. Lol, right.
You're the one who said our economy needed to be fixed, I simply asked you about that statement and you start rambling about mpg on cars because you have no argument whatsoever, dumbass.

Oh, I guess you constantly bringing up money and education when addressing me has nothing to do with your insecurities. My bad.

You know nothing about me, but you sure do assume a lot. Never mentioned student loans, school, money, anything lol

Depends how you're comparing them. They both had strengths and weaknesses. Also lead the country in different times despite the fact that Obama succeeded him.

Compare them on the economy, disaster preparedness and response, command over the armed services and bringing Osama bin Laden to justice.

You're furious. I've had your attention this whole time. Keep seething cuckold.

Yeah, the markets are totally 100% reacting to a know nothing and his small universe of cronies taking over. No outlying factors whatsoever. Hey, remember when Obama's presidency saw historic gains and racist conservatives like yourself downplayed tf out of it? (ill grant you bank stocks are likely backflipping over dodd frank getting sunk)

And WHAT - are you on the spectrum lol? the economy isn't some binary - fixed or not fixed thing. it can improve, like it has under obama. it can be severely hurt.... like under bush, ur hero. so me bringing up mpg cars/obamas revival in detroit is ABSOLUTELY related to our conversation.... about the obama economy. thanks for playing. pass me your wife.

no, you twit, im bringing up your money/education because i think it disqualifies your politics. you don't have an even handed perspective on the experiences of the bottom 90% of americans. and yes, i know your breed, your ilk. you aren't that interesting afterall-- very easy to fill in the blanks. ive clearly pegged you or you wouldn't be bending over backwards now... cuck

I'm just going to use this thread to point out how terrifying Trump's cabinet is becoming. sessions unsettled me but now Flynn? Jesus f---ing Christ.

Also I loved Bannon's "darkness is good" quote, too. This is going to end great.

i find it really embarrassing how many people i've talked to in the past year who have been like "IF TRUMP WINS HE'S GOING TO OFFEND SOME OTHER WORLD LEADER WITH AN OFF HAND COMMENT AND LEAD TO A WORLD WAR!"

I've seriously seen like 9 people irl say this argument it's just so silly
any time you try and say "world wars and nuclear attacks are a bit more complicated that school yard name calling" they just get mad and call you racist
