Sep 16, 2018 Omg like whoever mixed jessie Reyez’ vocals on those songs should be shot. Her voice kills my eardrums. I like her on the songs but they should have toned her down a tad so I could not go f---ing deaf. Isn’t it called decibels? The sound thingie on the mixer? Did they not see it hit red while she was screeching?
Sep 16, 2018 Nice guy / kamikaze are the meh songs for me on kami and they even grew on me tbh. The relationship songs goodguy and normal are even good to me (instead if lmao tragic endings etc)
Sep 16, 2018 The Ringer and Fall are the best. I really enjoy Good Guy. A lot actually, and it’s a shame nice guy is so bad. Stepping stone is really solid, as are Not Alike and Lucky You. Venom is decent. I like certain elements of Normal, quite a bit actually, like the singing at the very end of the song. The beat switch up is nice, and both beats are solid. But the Milo verse is s---. Actually all the verses don’t really do anything for me. But yeah, Normal has potential but didn’t work like it should’ve. The Greatest is solid and Kamikaze can f--- right off.
