    This is exactly why some people think MGK won with Rap Devil, because 50% of the bars on Killshot went over their heads. When the majority of the population is dumbed down, more simple, lazy bars will always "Win" to the majority. Em got MGK on Not Alike if you ask me...MGK definitely held his own though, I'll give him that. Respect for even responding, whether he won or lost.

    That’s 1 platform the song is on though. Take all streaming services, iTunes, Amazon & physical purchases on the planet into account - I’d be surprised if it’s 1%.

    I don’t know why we’re still arguing this, there’s other lyric sites too. the point is that a lot of rap fans use genius and look up lyrics lol

    The other sites don’t annotate. Also, not everyone will read every annotation even *on Genius*

    There’s definitely more rap fans reading up lyrics than any other genre, you’re right there, but I think you’re inflating it a lot more than in reality. Not every listener is a rap nerd.

    I know not every listener is a rap nerd lol all I said was that someone who listens to artists like conway (who's, like, the definition of a rap nerd's artist) is more likely to read and take in lyrics to try to understand them further.

    THIS, plus big part of the people who even check out for annonations on genius are guys like me who if doesn't understand some explanation on a first read usually just skip it LMFAO
    Also, genius used to have way better editors before about five years ago, nowadays they often miss stuff and exaggerate what they do catch, so one shouldn't rely to it too much or often instead of getting enlightened gonna get degraded lol

    Funny thing is after they already approve any annonation when you tag them with explaining even word by word why that's incomplete or ridiculous they almost never care especially if it's on a song that's no longer trending and generating huge amount of views, I mean unless it's a massively downvoted one cause then you can tag the red-removers group which actually responds to calls or at least in my experience.
    I know for a fact that the editorial-board group knows when they're getting tagged as well cause once after numerous of times not getting any f---ing response from them I just started tagging them continuously everytime I get on the site and eventually one of the assholes banned my account without even caring to follow their standard procedure by including sending me a robotic-like message about it lol
