I can't even listen to a full Eminem song anymore... He's so uninteresting now.

I thought his verse started good, but then he just went into speed rapping about nothing, and I just was like "Oh, never mind"

Some of you really have no idea what a good flow or delivery is lol.

So here you go:



See, this s--- sounds tough. He's killing this beat. It's not like the actual content is great either, but god d---, he sounds great on this s---. He's got rhythm... He's elevating his voice when he hits certain parts of the beat.. There's energy, confidence... This is what he LACKS now. He's like a f---ing robot. Not to mention his lyrics are corny too.

As much as Eminem Stans like to believe that music is based on taste, there are some things in music that are very subjective. If you look at an artist without your emotional connection to them, maybe you could take their music for what it's truly worth.

There is a difference rapping about immature things in a witty/clever way, and in an awful way.

For example: As The World Turns vs Fack.

Both very immature content, but one is clearly done better, and has wit.

Also, as far as sound is concerned, there is a difference between rapping really fast with ZERO charisma, and rapping to a beat with charisma. It has to do with rapping to the instruments, and not only that, but cadences and enunciations.

Eminem, since Recovery, has had very little rhythm when rapping. This isn't an issue of "to me/IMO" it's fact. His flow doesn't "bounce" like it used to... It's very straight across, and behind all the shouting, is very monotone too.

As said, music isn't as opinionated as you believe. There is a clear difference between great rappers and bad rappers, great singers and poor singers, great producers and poor producers, great drummers and awful drummers etc etc.

Only idiots with no depth or knowledge of music believes otherwise. If you honestly believe Eminem has been great or good the last few years, I suggest you seek out other rappers.

No sane person thinks he's close to what he once was however the point is people knit pick his s--- so hard that a lot of people forget to enjoy the music. Trust me eminem is a lot better if you're not expecting 02 eminem to show up on Every song. And guess what if you don't enjoy don't listen to it lol.

what do you think of the latter half of his verse on Best Friend? almost everyone says it's s---, even stans, but I think it’s a small step in the right direction delivery-wise (although some of the lyrics are questionable at best). I’m curious because you and I seem to have similar taste where flow/delivery is concerned. I thought I was the only one who remembered There They Go.
