They were just at Rubin's house. No production from him is confirmed until we get news about the album.Marshall III, NAES, Bojack and 16 others like this. -

The production on relapse was way better than anything else he's done post hiatus.2pacalypse, stzenit94, Etari and 10 others like this. -

imagine Rick Rubin producing a album being bad news.
If Em has Dre and Rick working on this we're getting another classic.Last edited: Jul 11, 2017Rebeliant, dkdnfbdjdkdddjdjfvcgfl, NotPaulR and 8 others like this. -

No it's not. SSLP era Eminem did those things but he oozed irony and dark humor.
Some of those lines he wrote back then were so innately clever. -

He was actually funny and witty back then. Not "goofy". And if you think him rapping as that Star Track character is funny I feel f---ing sorry for you.lil uzi vert stan, emss7717, Fitzy and 4 others like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Idk what some of you guys are on, but the production on relapse>>>>> any of his other albums since then.. It's just a shame that alot of them were ruined by that f---ing accent. It still blows my mind to this day that anyone could get a full album of Dre beats.Ids5621, UofLCard, Old Account and 4 others like this. -

Which means he played a role in the direction of the album.
Would prefer Just Blaze who told him Relapse was trash.Translucent, dkdnfbdjdkdddjdjfvcgfl, Koke and 4 others like this. -

Half of the songs on MMLP2 would have been twice as worse if it hadn't been for Rick Rubin. -

Imagine hating on one of the greatest producers in music history because your favorite rapper can't flow for s--- over one of his beats.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Rubin may not be a "bad" producer but the fact of the matter is Rubin and Eminem put out sub-par s--- together so regardless of who's fault it is this is bad news imo. He should just stick to Dre and Bass lol. Take Relapse for example it's far from a classic and eminem had already fallen off at that stage but there's something about it that still makes it more enjoyable than Recovery and MMLP2. He just sounded confident and like his old self. It feels like since then he's been trying to hard to change his sound or something or come across as a more serious rapper and it's failing miserably -

Relapse Recovery and MMLP2 are a good body of work
Don't think you can justify saying he fell off by those albums
As good as the first 3? Course not. Still v good though on the whole -

"b-but he doesn't HAVE to be great anymore!" has gotta worst justification i've heard for an artists work like, ever
