    That backpacker phase I went through during high school from 06-09 was admittedly pathetic, back when only lyrical acrobatics meant it was good music smh. Wasn't till I started realizing how fun Lil Wayne, Rick Ross & Guwop's music was I got more open minded.

    For like a month back in middle school I was all "rap isn't real music, yeah classic rock!"

    Still can't get into Kendrick. His features on Game's albums (The City and See No Evil) are the only listenable things I've heard from him so far.

    I really hated Wayne back around Carter III when he was huge... found him very annoying. Listened to some of his stuff, it's not as bad as I thought.

    I got into a really deep emo rock phase back in 2006-08 when Eminem was on hiatus. My favorite band was Hawthorne Heights. Ugh..
