Bad opinions you once had?

    The accent, which is probably the main reason for most people to hate/dislike this album, is pretty much just hated, because it's not the "standard 1999-2004 eminem voice" that everybody was used to from Em. Or at least thats what I guess, but I haven't had a problem with it since the 2nd listen.
    That he wanted to recreate the shock value with this album is probably right, but that doesn't make the album bad/s---.
    He also tried to recreate the humorous track (We Made You) and the I-have-a-problem-with-my-mom song (obv My Mom) and they were s---, but together with Crack A Bottle (which at least was sonically pretty good) they are the only bad tracks on the album (from what I remember, maybe there was 1 more).
    Deja Vu, 3 A.M., Beautiful, Stay Wide Awake, Insane are all dope.

    Disagree with you about My Mom, one of the few tracks where he actually comes off as genuine and not forced. You can tell he actually put effort into writing a song rather than just focus on rhyming multi's for an entire verse like he did on tracks like Underground/Stay Wide Awake. Insane was embarrassingly bad, cringe worthy bars throughout, the track wasn't clever or witty like you'd expect to find from an older Eminem with a song like this. It's blunt and vulgar, the entire purpose of the track is for shock value, it has no other purpose and once you get passed that, you have nothing. It's similar to "Kim" in a sense except Kim didn't have the cringe worthy bars and actually had some structure to it.

    If an artist tries to recreate something and fails in doing so that would indeed make whatever they did whether that be making a song, album, whatever bad.

    He did around Recovery.
    But last few years he has lost fans. Shady XV didn't do good at all.

    Shady XV was not meant to sell records or reach the mainstream. It was just a way for Eminem to promote his label and artists, namely Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf.

    He had videos for Guts Over Fear and Detroit Vs Everybody, and performed GOF at that Salute To Service concert but yea thats about it.
