    Pushed the wrong button. I used to write my own s---. I used to draw too but now I'm studying architecture and yes I'm probably drawing good and also I'm creating my own designs. Creativity is a huge part of my life.

    Okay awesome:

    When you create, do you feel like sometimes when you start a project, it just takes a life of its own and it becomes some of the best work you've ever done?

    And other times, do you feel like when you consciously try to create something of similar quality, you tend to overthink the creative process and force an outcome that just isn't there?

    i like this post, and i don't think you're crazy. i think Dark Fantasy is an all-time classic--it's probably in my top 15 ever. i would simply like people to give Tha Tour the critical attention it deserves, since it's in my top ten. i would argue that what kanye does for production on his record, thug does for the actual act of rapping on his.

    i like thug and barter 6 got me into trap for the first time but it's not been something i can come back to replay very often. the urge just isn't there... not saying it's there for take care anymore either cause it's not. heard the album way too many d--- times when it dropped and during the months following, but i at least had that period of time where i was into it constantly and revisiting it. that never happened with barter 6 and won't. so take care easily gets my vote

    I've listened to tha tour front to back everyday I've gone to the gym this week lol

    Picking up on so much s--- just because I understand thug and rhq's style way more now than in the past

    Well that's just what I meant by TPAB sounding forced. He obviously tried to create something beyond the specific scope of this genre (read some jazz history :laff:) the execution wasn't at the same level of MBDTF.

    TPAB sounded forced to me versus MBDTF, which sounds like everything just aligned for Kanye. That album, plus all of the GOOD Friday cuts, I think Kanye might have been in one of the best creative spaces in the history of rap leading up to that release.

    But to add to that, that's also why B6 is my least favourite Young Thug release of 2015. The production on the first half was great, but for the most part it was very similar - recycled drums and snares. OD is my favourite song on that project, it's probably not even a top 4 song for most of those who voted B6 in this thread.
