Aug 27, 2015 I don't think anyone disputes that but I'm pretty sure @Packman was referring to currently, in 2015, when he made this thread. Right now, there's literally no argument that can be made for Eminem being better than Mac Miller.
Aug 27, 2015 It would be a tall order for any artist to match ems first 3 studio albums. That being said, in 2015, Mac Is a much better artist than Em. When it comes to mainstream rappers, Em is probably the best on a technical level. But I'm not a fan of his recent work (although it is impressive). Mac makes music, Em makes technical showcases. I still think Em could release a great album, but his music hasn't connected with me (aside from a gem here or there) for awhile. So I have to say Mac Miller for 2015. I have yet to really dive into Macs music so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I've only heard a few songs here and there but from what I can tell, in 2015, he's the better artist.
Aug 27, 2015 Yeah... Opinion still stands. Mac millers peak is average. While modern eminem isn't great he still has moments. Those moments blow Mac millers best work away, by a wide margin.
Aug 27, 2015 How do you know he's even reached his peak yet? Lol Mac Miller is only 23 years old. And when you say "modern Eminem has his moments" you mean a select few songs here & there lol. Em has put out one good album (MMLP2) in that past 7 years, Mac Miller has put out numerous solid mixtapes (K.I.D.S, Macadelic, Delusional Thomas, Faces) & a very good studio album (Watching Movies With the Sound Off) in that same time span. The consistency speaks for itself.
